A dedicated track for the clinical case that changed how you practise.
The case study track is the most practical part of the MBTL programme. It gives clinicians a place to present a single real patient (the presentation, the reasoning, the microbiome data if it was used, the decision, and the outcome) and to open that reasoning to an expert panel and the room.
Cases do not need a happy ending. Some of the most valuable sessions in previous editions have been about interventions that did not work, and why.

Submit your clinical case under one of the following.
The panel is looking for a transferable learning point, not an unusual diagnosis for its own sake.
Show us how the decision was made, including the options you rejected.
Uncertainty, complications and negative outcomes are welcome and often the most instructive.
The strongest cases link a clinical decision to the evidence presented elsewhere in the programme.
Case study submissions close on 31 July 2027.
